Your information

Privacy policy

How Keenlie handles information, partner introductions and your choices. Updated 21 October 2026.

Keenlie is a commercial newsletter and discovery brand. Our emails are intended to feature advertising offers from a range of other brands. Some subscribers will join through partner websites, including promotions and prize draws where Keenlie is offered as a marketing choice. Our business model includes sharing campaign revenue with list-owning partners under commercial agreements.

Service status: the information website is live. Newsletter sending, subscriber imports and signup through this website have not yet launched. The newsletter sections below describe the service we are preparing, and apply when that processing begins. We will update this policy with the actual sending arrangements before activation.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Deceiin ApS is the company behind Keenlie and is responsible for the personal information it processes for the Keenlie service. Keenlie is our trading name. Our company registration number is CVR 45320839 and our address is Møllebakken 60, 8361 Hasselager, Denmark.

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email contact@deceiin.com. You do not need to create an account to contact us or exercise your rights.

2. Where subscriber information comes from

You may join Keenlie directly when our own signup opens, or through a partner website that identifies Keenlie as a sender and offers you a choice to receive our marketing emails. The partner operates its own website and collection process under its own privacy notice. Deceiin ApS is responsible for its subsequent use of the information for Keenlie.

For a partner introduction, we will obtain the source website and organisation, the information needed for your subscription, and evidence of your permission. We will identify your actual source in the information provided to you when we first contact you. Unless you already have the required information or another legal exception applies, we will provide it within one month of receiving your data, and sooner if we first contact you or disclose your data to another recipient before then.

This policy explains our processing. It does not itself enrol you, constitute marketing consent or change the choices you made on a partner website. Listing Keenlie as a partner does not retrospectively change an earlier subscription choice.

3. Information we use

  • Subscription details: your email address and, where provided and relevant, your name, country, language, chosen interests and frequency preferences.
  • Permission and source records: the collection website, introducing partner, signup date and time, the consent wording and version shown to you, your selected marketing choices and any confirmation record. Technical evidence such as an IP address may be included where needed to establish the signup.
  • Delivery and preference records: sent messages, delivery failures, complaints, unsubscribe requests and suppression status, when our sending service is active.
  • Enquiries: your email address, message and information you choose to send when contacting us.
  • Website connection information: IP address, request details and security information processed by hosting and access services to deliver and protect this website.

We will use only information relevant to the Keenlie service and covered by the information and permissions provided to you. An email address and a record of permission are needed to provide a subscription. Giving consent is optional; declining it means we cannot send you the marketing newsletter. Other details are optional unless the signup clearly explains why they are needed. The current website has no subscriber database or submission form.

4. Why we use information and our legal bases

Sending marketing: we will use subscription details to send Keenlie advertising emails within the scope of your consent. This includes offers from other brands in the categories described when you join. Our basis for that marketing is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, together with the applicable electronic marketing rules. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Managing your choices and protecting the service: we use the necessary records to recognise your source and permission, maintain accurate preferences, investigate abuse, handle delivery problems and honour objections. Our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) are operating a reliable service, demonstrating permission and preventing unwanted contact. Where a specific legal duty requires processing, Article 6(1)(c) applies. These purposes do not replace consent where it is required for marketing.

Answering you: we use correspondence to handle questions, privacy requests and complaints. Ordinary enquiry handling is based on our legitimate interest in responding. Compliance with a specific statutory request or obligation is based on Article 6(1)(c). Where an enquiry concerns steps towards a contract with you, Article 6(1)(b) may apply.

Delivering and securing the website: necessary connection and security processing supports our legitimate interest in providing a functioning, secure public website. The site is published through OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare hosting infrastructure.

5. Offers, personalisation and tracking

Keenlie is the email sender; a featured advertiser is the business offering the product or service. With your marketing permission, we may select newsletter content according to the interests, language and country you choose. Keenlie does not currently carry out automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

No advertising pixels, analytics, email opening trackers or live affiliate tracking links are enabled in this edition. Before introducing engagement tracking or additional profiling, we will explain the actual data, purposes and providers, obtain any required consent and provide the applicable controls.

When live offers are introduced, their commercial nature will be labelled. Following an advertiser link takes you to another service whose privacy notice applies to information you provide there. We will explain any affiliate measurement used before enabling it.

6. Who receives information?

Service providers: the current website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Once appointed, providers of email delivery, hosting, security and support may process the information needed to perform their services under appropriate contracts and access restrictions. Our newsletter delivery provider has not yet been selected; we will identify it here before subscriber processing begins.

Introducing partners: a partner may retain its own collection and consent records. Revenue-sharing arrangements may require campaign and attribution reporting. Before any identifiable subscriber information is included in that reporting, we will explain what is shared, with whom, why and on what basis. Revenue sharing does not by itself authorise further use of your information.

Advertisers: featuring an advertiser does not by itself give it our subscriber list or permission to contact you directly. Any separate sharing or introduction involving personal information requires an appropriate basis and clear information to you.

Other necessary recipients: professional advisers, regulators, courts or public authorities may receive limited information where necessary for legal advice, a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

7. International processing

Deceiin ApS is established in Denmark. Using an international service provider can involve processing or access outside the EEA or, for UK information, outside the UK. A provider's location alone does not establish that a transfer is lawful.

Before placing subscriber data with a provider, we must establish the processing locations and, where a restricted transfer occurs, a valid mechanism under the applicable rules, such as a relevant adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards with any necessary additional measures. We will provide the actual newsletter transfer arrangements here before activation. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information or how to obtain a copy.

8. How long we keep information

Subscription information: we will keep the information needed to provide an active, permitted subscription. Withdrawal, an objection, an invalid address or a determination that the permission no longer supports contact ends its use for marketing. We will review continued need and remove or anonymise information that is no longer required; an old signup is not a reason to retain an active marketing profile indefinitely.

Consent and dispute evidence: limited records may be retained separately after marketing ends where necessary to demonstrate the permission relied upon, meet a legal duty or deal with a complaint or claim. The relevant statutory requirement, applicable claim period and whether a dispute is unresolved determine that period. Such evidence is not a list for further marketing.

Suppression records: we will retain the minimum information necessary to recognise an unsubscribe or objection for as long as there is a realistic possibility of the address being reintroduced into our marketing system. This prevents a later partner import from overriding your choice.

Enquiries: we keep correspondence while handling the matter and for any further period necessary to meet a relevant legal requirement or resolve an identifiable dispute. We assess necessity by the subject of the enquiry, whether follow-up remains outstanding and any applicable claim period.

Hosting and security information: provider-managed retention depends on the service, security purpose and applicable legal requirements. Contact us for further information about the provider-managed records relevant to your visit.

9. Unsubscribe and object to marketing

Every Keenlie marketing email will include an easy unsubscribe option. You can also email contact@deceiin.com and identify the email address to stop. No login or account creation is required. See unsubscribe help.

You have an unconditional right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing, including profiling related to that marketing. We must stop that use following your objection. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Limited suppression and evidence records may remain for the purposes explained above.

10. Your other rights and complaints

Depending on the legal basis and circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. That objection is assessed under the applicable rules; the unconditional direct marketing objection described above is separate.

We will normally respond within one month. If the law permits an extension for a complex request, we will explain it within that initial month. We may ask for proportionate evidence of identity where needed to protect your information. Please do not send a password or identity document with an initial enquiry.

You may complain to Datatilsynet in Denmark or another competent supervisory authority. For UK matters, you may contact the Information Commissioner's Office. You may contact us first, but doing so is not a condition for complaining to an authority.

11. Cookies, security and changes

Keenlie's current page code sets no cookies or browser storage and loads no external fonts, pixels or analytics. Hosting security features operate separately. Read our cookies notice for the current position.

We will limit access to information to what is needed for the relevant task and use measures appropriate to the risks. No website or email service can promise absolute security.

We will keep this policy consistent with the service we actually operate. A material change in data use will be explained before it takes effect, with a new choice where required. Updating a privacy policy is not a way to expand an existing marketing consent. The date above identifies this version.
